What the rest of the category charges, and what you get for it

Every claim about us points at something that is enforced in the product. Every claim about them is about a published price or a documented practice. Some rows below go against us, because a page that wins everything is an advertisement.

Entry pricing across the category.

Where this wins

Nine of the thirteen. Each one is enforced by something in the product rather than promised in copy.

What does it cost to start. MastroSDR is stronger here.

MastroSDR
Free, then $49 a month. No card for the free plan.
The category
$499 to $750 a month, or a sales call for a quote. The category has no entry tier because it was priced for funded sales teams.

What do you pay for the AI. MastroSDR is stronger here.

MastroSDR
Paid plans include a pool of drafts. Past it you connect your own provider key and they bill you directly, or you point it at a model on your own machine. There is no per-word tier.
The category
Credits, sold by the tool at a markup, and the number of credits is usually the thing that separates the tiers.

Can it send without you seeing it first. MastroSDR is stronger here.

MastroSDR
Not until you turn it on. Review is the default on every new workspace and stays that way until somebody deliberately switches to autopilot, which is recorded with who and when. Most tools ship the switch already flipped.
The category
Autopilot is usually a switch in the interface, which means anyone with access to the account can turn it off.

Does it learn from what worked. MastroSDR is stronger here.

MastroSDR
From replies, and it shows you both rates and both counts so you can check the arithmetic. It says nothing when the sample is too small.
The category
Most of the funded tools advertise adaptive learning. None of them show you what it concluded or what it concluded it from.

How does it know someone replied. MastroSDR is stronger here.

MastroSDR
It reads the mailbox you connected and stops that person's cadence. A reply goes to your inbox and never touches us, so nothing else could see it.
The category
Several ask you to mark replies by hand, which is why people get chased after they have already said yes.

What does warmup mean here. MastroSDR is stronger here.

MastroSDR
Real sends, ramped from ten a day over three weeks, and you cannot skip it. No network of mailboxes emailing each other.
The category
A reciprocal network: your mailbox emails other customers' mailboxes and they mark it important. Google made GMass drop it in 2023, and Apollo dropped its own in 2024.

Can software drive it. MastroSDR is stronger here.

MastroSDR
A documented API, an MCP server, scoped keys where drafting and sending are separate permissions, and one link at /llms.txt for whoever runs your agent.
The category
Some have an API. Scoped keys that separate drafting from sending are rare, and agent-readable documentation is rarer.

What happens when somebody replies. MastroSDR is stronger here.

MastroSDR
Their cadence stops, and they appear in a callback queue with the number their business publishes and how long they have been waiting. MastroSDR will not cold call anybody and there is no setting that turns that on.
The category
Some now offer an AI voice agent that cold calls. In the US the FCC ruled in February 2024 that an AI voice needs prior express consent, which a cold call does not have.

What happens if it does not work for you. MastroSDR is stronger here.

MastroSDR
Free plan with no card, so you find out before paying anything. Five specific promises, each naming the thing in the product that enforces it, so you can check rather than trust.
The category
Checked across nine tools in August 2026: not one offers a guarantee of any kind. The risk reversal across the whole category is the same four words, no credit card required.

Where it depends on you

Genuinely close. Which way these fall is a fact about how you work, not about which tool is better.

Does it handle LinkedIn as well as email. Neither is clearly stronger.

MastroSDR
A cadence can mix email, LinkedIn, X and Instagram. MastroSDR writes every touch, sends the email, and hands you the rest. None of those networks let a tool send as you. The ones that claim otherwise are automating your logged-in session, which is how accounts get restricted.
The category
Sends LinkedIn automatically, usually through an extension driving your account. It is genuinely less work, and it is your account carrying the risk.

Does it book the meeting. Neither is clearly stronger.

MastroSDR
Yes, from your real calendar rather than a scheduling link, and you approve the words until you turn that off. It offers at most one time a day and rechecks the slot before writing the invite. Unlimited, inside the $49.
The category
Most of them book too, and the funded ones do it well. MeetChase charges $50 to $60 per meeting booked, so a single meeting there costs about what a month of this costs with no cap on how many you book.

Who is it for. Neither is clearly stronger.

MastroSDR
One person, or a few, selling a service and needing clients. It assumes nobody is coming to help.
The category
A sales team with a manager, a CRM and a budget. The pricing follows from that and so does the onboarding.

Where the category beats us

Two, stated plainly. If either of these is what you need, buy the other thing. You will be happier and we would rather you did.

Where do the contacts come from. The category is stronger here.

MastroSDR
Search a trade and a place. Business search finds the companies, then MastroSDR reads each one's own website and takes the address it publishes there. Nothing is invented, so a business publishing no address arrives without one. You can also paste or upload a list you bought elsewhere.
The category
A licensed contact database, often hundreds of millions of records, with verified direct dials and job titles. That is genuinely more than we have, and if you need direct dials you need one of them.

Does it plug into my CRM. The category is stronger here.

MastroSDR
No sync, but the whole list downloads as a CSV that every CRM accepts, and everything is readable over the API. What you put in comes back out without asking us.
The category
Two-way sync with the major CRMs is standard. If your team lives inside one, that is a real reason to choose them.

Choose MastroSDR if

You are selling your own service, you want to read what goes out, and you would rather spend $49 and your own model key than $500 and a credit balance.

Choose one of them if

You have a sales team, you live in a CRM, and you want LinkedIn sent for you rather than handed to you. A licensed contact database with direct dials is real, and we do not have one.

Prices are list prices and move. If you find one of these out of date, tell us and it gets corrected.
